1.This cable can not work if your car uses a protocol/bussystem like VPW, PWM or CAN-bus.
2. Terminal K = Bus of communication
3. Terminal L = Ignition for waking up car computing system (ECU: Engine Control Unit)

User instruction.
1.0 Download the shareware 409.1 in your laptops and PCs.
2.0 Run it and follow the prompts to allow it to install it own.
Note: You have to install software on your PC's hard disk,it will not run properly if you try to use it directly from a floppy or CD. However, you can use a floppy or CD to move the distribution file from a PC with internet access to another PC that does not have internet access.
3.0 Connect the interface between the computer and the car by plugging one end of the interface into a Serial (RS232) or USB port on your PC and the other end directly into the OBD-II port present in all 1996 and newer OBD2 passenger vehicles.
4.0 Please turn the car's ignition switch ON. you dont need to start the engine.
5.0 Please Start the software program, click "Options", you need to select the correct communications port, please use "Test" to confirm that the program can use the port and find the interface. Then "Save".
6.0 Now it should work, please ,ake sure the software can reliably access all the control modules that it should in your car.
