OBD-D-I V1.3 USB Interface
This interface uses the OBD-D-I V1.3 chipset with FTDI Serial to USB for reliable connections to your vehicle and computer. It's the most compatible version of the OBD-II scanners. For car and van owners, it's easy to save time and money with this OBD-II interface which enables you to connect your vehicle to your PC. By reading the Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTCs) that appear when the MIL("check engine") light is showing, you can troubleshoot any problems in your vehicle.
DTCs are codes stored by the vehicle's computer system when a vehicle issue occurs. Each DTC represents a particular vehicle issue which is used as a guide to locate the root cause, in order for you to fix the vehicle.
The interface is the most powerful member of the series and is compatible with a wider range of protocols than before:
